Randomness

I am way behind on blogging. I still haven't gotten around to putting up the Easter pics. Truth is, with this semester winding down I have been busy finishing up my school work. I am done with one class, but still have 3 more to finish. I am currently in the middle of writing an 8 page paper and after that, all the big stuff will be done. I am so ready for this semester to be done and have a little break. I do plan on going next fall and finishing up the semester the week the baby is due. Wish me luck!

Speaking of baby.....we are chugging right along and so far things have been pretty good. I am definitely feeling pregnant though. I can't keep my eyes open for more than a few hours without needing a nap. If I sit down for any length of time, I'm out. I don't ever remember being this tired with Emma or Ryleigh although, I'm sure it was. Luckily this phase passes quickly and I'll have my energy back. The sickness is starting to set in too. I'm definitely staying away from certain foods and the thought of eating sometimes makes me sick. Some days are better than others.

The other day the girls and I had some time to kill so we stopped in Babies R Us to look around. I have always been a sucker for baby products so now I'm in heaven. Just in the short time since Ryleigh has been born they have come out with a lot of new things. This fall we will be moving Emma into Ryleigh's room so we can start making room for this little one. 

It is looking like Josh and I are going to have to get a new car. My SUV only has one row of seating in the back and three carseats aren't going to fit there. Trust me, I've tried. I have measured and even looked at getting Emma a new seat so that an infant carrier would fit but it just isn't going to work. So we will hopefully be looking at trading my car in the next couple of months. We are going to go with a larger SUV with 3rd row seating. 

My girls have not been getting a lot lately at all. I can't tell you how many fights I break up during the day. I am working really hard on getting them to play together but it's definitely a work in progress.

Tomorrow we will be celebrating Josh's 29th birthday! Man, he's getting old!! :-)

So glad the weekend is almost here!!

Baby #3!

I still have some Easter pics to upload...but for now, we are going to skip it and talk about Baby Newnam #3!!

I found out the morning of my birthday that I was expecting baby #3. It was a HUGE surprise to both of us but we are so excited. I have always wanted to have more kids and Josh has always said he would like 2 with the possibility of 3. So after this one, our family will be complete. I am just over the moon about this new little baby that will be joining our family. We kept the news secret so that I could go to the doctor and confirm everything. After 3 different beta tests, I was definitely pregnant. We were going to wait closer to the end of the month to tell everyone, but I wanted to do it on Easter and that's when we did. I don't do the whole "wait till 12 weeks thing." I completely understand the reason behind it, however I have my trust in the Lord and I want everyone to be able to celebrate with us and be just as excited as we are.(plus, I'm horrible at keeping secrets) Our families are really excited also. My sister literally jumped out of her chair and ran to hug me when she found out. I am so glad that everyone is as happy as we are. 

I couldn't wait to tell Emma and Ryleigh that they were going to have a new baby sister or brother. Ryleigh couldn't have cared less and Emma asked if I ate a monkey! I'm sure over the next several months she will realize what is going on more and more. She has already stated that she would like a baby brother. She is going to be such a big helper. I can't wait!

This is my ultrasound picture from today. The little one is looking great and had a great heartbeat. 

It doesn't matter how many kids you have, seeing that little baby and heartbeat never gets old. It was just as special and wonderful this time as it was the first time. 

So there it is. My due date got pushed back a few days this morning so my new due date is Decemeber 4th. 

It's going to be a great Christmas this year.
