18 Months Old

Emma is now 18 months old.

She weighs about 25 lbs and is still about 30 in. tall.

She wears anywhere from 12-24 month clothes, size 3 diaper, and size 4 shoe.

She still loves the Backyardigans but has recently found a love for Jack's Big Music Show too.

She loves to climb on everything. She is always trying to find something to push up against the couch or bed to climb up. She's our little monkey.

She is great at shape sorters and also little puzzles. She can usually find where they all fit.

Emma still isn't really talking. She makes sounds that sometimes I think are words, but I have come to the conclusion that she just doesn't have a lot to say. You can tell by her actions that she is very smart and knows different words but she just doesn't want to talk. I'm sure it's coming soon though.

Emma has kept herself on her own little schedule that is working like a charm. She gets up anywhere from 6:15-7:00, eats lunch at 11:30, nap from 12:00-2:30 and then bed time at 8:15. She is sleeping through the night great and we just hope it continues when her little sister gets here.

She loves to sit and play in the laundry basket.

She gives great high fives and kisses.

She will wave bye to you when we are getting ready to leave somewhere.

She loves riding in the car. You never even know she is back there. She usually doesn't make a peep the entire time.

Her favorite thing to do, is still taking a bath. She could stay in there forever if you'd let her.

She has started using cups with a straw and is slowly learning that you don't have to tip them up to drink out of it.

Emma loves her daddy so much. I still think he is her favorite person. They have so much fun playing together.
